Piano - Update

I am so happy that I painted my piano. I have been talking about doing it for a while now. I love how it turned out! It used to look like this. (I have been exeperimenting with a few colors of paint!) Now it looks like this! painting makes me happy.... what makes you happy? To answer some questions about this piano I will write a new post with instructions and an update now that it has been this way for several years!

Can't let go

I realize that nobody really blogs any longer, much less reads blogs. I just went through this blog looking for a photo that I have lost on my computer and realized what goodness is here for my family. So I will write again. Life is an amazing journey. I'm learning so much and so slowly it seems. I can see so many of the same lessons cycling through and I wonder why I am so hard headed and do not pick them up on round one. The kids are growing up so fast. I CANNOT believe I have an 18 year old finished with high school. Unreal. We have also grown and added to our numbers. What a joy Ruby is to our family and life. I hope you have things you love so much you can't let go too. Writing, photos, and family are that for me. Carry on. E

Reclaiming Myself

Happy New YEar! Wham, here it goes. A very long post. Feel free to run away now if you need to. This is more for me than anyone (we already knew that though) but here goes. Happy new year! Although my home looks like this And this I NEEDED some time to reclaim myself. I feel much better, and I am on a bit of a roll. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing but I'm not sleeping much or very well on account of all the wild ideas swimming around up there. ah. if only I had the time to execute all that I dream up! just some cards I love how my Christmas card display turned out this year. It has been fun to flip through! This blanket is a bit on the wild side but I like how it turned out and I hope that baby Olivia likes it as well! It has been needing some love to get it finished for a while now so I am so happy to have been able to do it! AND while i was crafting Christian did some crafting of his own, which he is so very proud of and it stand
