It's Official

We will soon have a new place of residence!   Ok, so 'soon' is a relative word, as we have not even broken ground yet!  We drove out to the 'new place' yesterday and stood on the lot about where we think the back of house will stand and told the kids = do you see that fence way back there?  Do you think it will be fun for our yard to go all the way back to that fence?

It's exciting.  And stressful.  And I'm worried about a lot of things.  I feel the Lord's hand in all of it guiding us through and I'm grateful for this blessing.  It will be alright in the end.    I have faith in good things to come.

I was planning on waiting to do this post until I could at least show you that dirt is moving around.  But that photo of Christian leaning against the sign with his church pants tucked into his cowboy boots is just irrestible.

  1. So very, very exciting!!! Your yard is going to be so fun and big. How far away is it from where you live now? Have you been thinking about building for a long time?
We have dreams of building one day, but we just haven't found the right spot to do it. I'm so happy for you that you found yours!
