Prayers are always answered

This past week I have been praying for little things; things that are not huge and that really only matter in the lives of me and my children.  Things like Clark's tooth getting loose and coming out even though the tooth behind it was already in and my children almost always have to have their teeth pulled and it hurts and it's expensive and I just didn't think Clark could handle that right now.  Sure enough, three days after I started really praying about it he woke up one morning and it was completely wiggling.  I feel so thankful for all of these little things that happen on a reguar basis that remind me that Heavenly Father listens; he cares; and that even little things matter to Him.

Sheffield has had that tongue hanging out constantly and we are hoping for some teeth in his mouth as well since he has decided that he will only eat table food and NOT baby food.  This is the problem with having 6 older siblings.  He watches them do some many things and he seems to be in a hurry to keep up.  He is trying to stand up anytime he can grab on to one of us and he is growing up much too rapidly.

Faye just makes life fun.  So does 8 inches of snow in April.  Now things are turning green and the garden is looking promising and I love that!

It's funny to me that I didn't realize that the sun was reflecting so brightly off of Savanna's blonde hair when I took this picture.  Poor Kurt, it's bouncing back right on his face!  It reminded me that there are things that are there all the time {answered prayers, the love of God} that we sometimes don't see until later.
I love this photo and I wish that Clark hadn't been so grumpy so that he would have stayed in it.   I guess we will just try again next week :)
